Biography:
Iwas born on 27th of November 1985. in Vukovar. I’ve finished Primary School in Backa Palanka, and Secondary School for locksmith in Vukovar. On 25th of June 2006. I got my personal bodybuilding trainer certificate.
From my 6th -11th year I’ve trained gymnastics…
I had a great success in this sport:
-3rd place at Serbian Championship in Kostolac
-1st place at Serbian Championship in vaulting horse
Unfortunately, in 16th year of my life I had to return to Vukovar.
In 2002. my life dream was to become a bodybuilder, but since in Vukovar there was no gym or any sport center, and I started to train in a basement(1.8x2.5m) of my building. I made my first equipment, which consisted of bench press, squat, and weights. After a year, I could lift 400 pounds on bench press and 360pounds x 12 on squat.
My first competition was the World Championsip in Romania, where I went with my friend Damir Ivancic from Backa Palanka. He didn’t tell me that there was no junior category. When I came everybody was thrilled. I had 180 pounds of pure muscle, and won 3rd place in seniors among 15 competitors, when I was 17 years old.
My successful career began there: I became undefeated junior champion of Serbia and Croatia.
All that time I had no financial support. I was my own trainer and menager. I had a few jobs and at the same time went to school. I was security guard in a disco club in Viknovci. I took care of go-go dancers and stripers. I was also an employee in locksmith shop, where I worked for a minimal wage. But that was not enough for my needs. I worked as a personal trainer, but I had no support from a city hall or any sport center although I was undefeated champion of Croatia.
In 2006. ,the president of Body Building association of Croatia promised me that he is going to take me to the World Championship,but eventually he didn’t stick to it.
After that I also won 3rd place at Mr.Universe 2007.,1st place at the Serbia Open Cup 2009. and the 6th place at the World Championship 2009. in Kosice (Slovakia).
